Vertical ComfortPLENUM Including Two Dampers No Endcap (CPV2-12)

The two zone vertical ComfortPLENUM™ without a bypass damper is 21” x 21” x 4’ long. Installers simply cut a circular hole in the sheet metal using the Cutting Guide decal to choose the size of their hole from 6” to 14” round or rectangular. The Cutting Guide is located on the sheet metal directly in front of the damper. The damper is mounted on the inside of the plenum directly behind the cutting guide. Once the hole is cut and the insulation is trimmed away, the damper blades will be showing. Duct-tab or spin-in starting collars may be installed into the holes. Bypass may be added using another damper installed outside the plenum. This plenum may be used in two zone applications without a damper for bypass. One option is each of two zones may be designed large enough to accommodate all the air through either of the zones when only one is open. Another option is in some two stage applications, the zoning system does not allow the equipment to go into second stage (with high speed fan)unless both zones are open, so no bypass is required. When one zone is open, only low fan is operable.
