Zoning Systems

What is Zoning?

Building science gurus have stated most families live in approximately 500 square feet of their home at a time.  Zoned air conditioning systems allow you to selectively heat or cool different areas of your house to different and distinct temperatures. For example, if there are areas of your home that are seldom used, or vacant during certain times of the day or night, a zoned heating and cooling system allows you to save money by operating only areas in use until you need to use other parts of the house again.  Most people would sleep at a different temperature than they maintain the bedroom during the day.  Most folks would appreciate saving money by not cooling the kitchen at 3:00am.

Comfort Zoning is a green thing.

The idea of having several points of control in a residential application is accepted as very easy to sell.  Who doesn’t want to save money AND be more comfortable.  However, over the years contractors have not always embraced the idea of selling zoning systems.  Zoning manufacturers were forced to wait for technology to catch up with the idea.  Now, zoning manufacturers understand the importance of easy service and straight-forward operation that doesn’t require you to guess what the system is supposed to be doing.  This is also defined as RELIABILITY.

At Comfort Products we show and tell our product story while we demonstrate that the zoning system is easy to service BECAUSE the operation is straight-forward and easy to understand.

The idea of having several points of control in a residential application is accepted as very easy to sell. However, over the years contractors have not always embraced the idea of selling zoning systems for two main reasons. #1. Zoning manufacturers did not build reliable products. #2. Zoning manufacturers did not have a product that would correctly control the unloading of residential equipment. At Comfort Products we show and tell our product story while we demonstrate our solution to these two issues with the most reliable and easy to use zoning line up in existence.
